Welcome to Smart Home Air and Heat! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the terms of service for our HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services in Orlando, Florida, and surrounding areas. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

  1. SERVICES

Smart Home Air and Heat provides residential and commercial HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services.

  • All services are subject to availability and scheduling.
  • Estimates are based on an initial assessment and may change upon further inspection.
  • Services will be performed according to local building codes and industry standards.
  1. PRICING & PAYMENTS
  • Written estimates will be provided before service begins.
  • A deposit may be required for large installations or custom orders.
  • Payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash, credit/debit cards, and financing (if available).
  • Late payments may result in additional fees or service suspension.
  1. WARRANTIES & GUARANTEES
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to new equipment; warranty terms vary by product.
  • Smart Home Air and Heat provides a 1-year warranty for labor of a newly installed system and a 14-day workmanship warranty on service and repairs unless different terms were agreed upon in writing.
  • Warranty claims must be submitted in writing. We reserve the right to inspect and verify claims.
  • The warranty is void if the system is misused, modified, or serviced by an unauthorized party.
  1. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

4.1 Refund Policy

  • Service Fees: Service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Deposits: Deposits on equipment orders or installations are non-refundable unless canceled before order processing.
  • Installation Issues: If an installation issue occurs due to our workmanship, we will correct it at no additional cost.

4.2 Product Exchanges & Returns

  • Defective Equipment: If equipment is found to be defective within the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will facilitate an exchange following the manufacturer’s policy.
  • Non-Defective Returns: Non-defective HVAC equipment is subject to the manufacturer’s return policy and may be subject to restocking fees.
  • Custom Orders: Special-order or custom HVAC systems are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  1. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
  • Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a service fee.
  • Smart Home Air and Heat reserves the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, technician availability, supply chain delays).
  1. LIABILITY & LIMITATIONS
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing HVAC issues, code violations, or damages caused by neglected maintenance.
  • We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages due to HVAC failures.
  • Customers must maintain their HVAC system according to manufacturer recommendations.
  1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure clear access to HVAC units for service.
  • Provide accurate information about the system and property conditions.
  • Follow maintenance recommendations to keep warranties valid.
  1. EMERGENCY SERVICES
  • Emergency services may be available at an additional cost.
  • Response times are not guaranteed and depend on demand and technician availability.
  1. PRIVACY POLICY

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in Orange County, Florida courts.

  1. CHANGES TO TERMS

Smart Home Air and Heat reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
